Quick Overview:
A spanhule is used to attach a wooden wall plate to a wall. It is possible to simply drill a small hole through the wall plate and into the wall and then hammer the spanhule in. This will hold the wallplate in position. You will need 2 or 3 spanhules per wall plate.
